15th Annual ASME OTC .09 Golf Tournament

ASME International Petroleum Technical Institute (IPTI) announces its 15th annual OTC Golf Tournament on Saturday, 2 May at the Wildcat Golf Club. This popular event is the premier pre-OTC golf tournament! It attracts nearly 300 golfers from a broad spectrum of the industry and raises thousands of dollars for student scholarships. Woelfel Best Mechanical Engineering Achievement Award

Fourth Annual ASCE OTC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner

Make plans now to join your colleagues at the ASCE OTC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner on Tuesday, 5 May.  Spend an evening at the Houston Petroleum Club celebrating the lives and legacies of the individuals whose research set the stage for today’s offshore industry. COPRI will once again honor OTC papers that have become an integral part of the offshore design process as well as lend themselves to other civil engineering disciplines. New Event! MMS SAFE Awards Luncheon

The Minerals Management Service will present the national SAFE awards at an OTC luncheon on Thursday, 7 May. SAFE awards recognize outstanding safety and pollution prevention performance by the offshore oil and gas industry in four categories: drilling contractor, production contractor, high-activity operator, and moderate-activity operator.
