How much does the workshop cost?
There is no fee to attend, thanks to OTC sponsorships.
How many teachers will attend?
Approximately 100 teachers will be selected to attend the workshop.
Is the material aligned to Texas standards?
Yes.
What is the dress policy?
Business casual. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes for the exhibition tour.
What is the schedule for the day?
What grade levels will be addressed?
Breakout sessions are offered for elementary, middle, and high school groups.
What time do I need to arrive?
You will need to arrive at 7:30 a.m. for registration. Please be prepared to show photo ID (passport or driver's license) to pick up your conference badge.
Can I leave early?
If you cannot attend for the entire day, please email us or call +1.972.952.1109. You will not receive your substitute reimbursement form if you leave early.
Do I need identification to get in?
Yes. Please be prepared to show photo ID (passport or driver's license) to pick up your conference badge.
Will you pay for my substitute?
Yes! Substitute reimbursement forms will be distributed at the conclusion of the workshop.
Do I need to pay for parking?
Close-in parking fills up quickly at Reliant Center, and requires you to pay $8 to enter the lot. You will be reimbursed for the parking fee at the end of the workshop. An easy alternative is to use the METRO, which has a stop at Reliant Center.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes, a complimentary lunch will be provided.
How do I cancel?
If you are unable to attend, please email us or call +1.972.952.1109. We would like to be able to offer the opportunity to attend to another educator if you are unable to attend.
