Important Information for International Attendees

The OTC staff works closely with the city of Houston and the Houston Airport System to ensure that international attendees have a pleasant arrival and stay in Houston while attending OTC.

Review the visa information when planning your travel to OTC. You can automatically generate an invitation letter. Please allow additional time upon arrival for any necessary passport control procedures.

Getting Around Houston

Shuttle Service From Hotels to Reliant Park

Complimentary shuttle service is provided between Reliant Park and official OTC hotels. Schedules will be posted in the hotel lobbies. Shuttle service begins Monday, 4 May, and continues through Thursday, 7 May. Download the shuttle schedule.

Airport Shuttle Service

SuperShuttle will be available on-site at Reliant Center from 4-7 May for transportation to the Houston-area airports. OTC attendees receive discounted ticket prices of USD 17 to Hobby Airport and USD 22 to Bush Intercontinental Airport. Airport shuttle service is also available to and from your hotels.

To receive the SuperShuttle discount, you must make your reservation online at least 24 hours in advance. Discount code is ZLUXA and is valid from 30 April through 31 May 2009.

METRO's Airport Direct Service

Get to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Terminal C to downtown Houston with METRO’s Airport Direct. It is a 30-minute, non-stop trip, leaving every 30 minutes, for just USD 30 roundtrip (or USD 15 one-way)! Plan your trip and purchase tickets.

The METRO Airport Direct runs daily, heading northbound from the Airport Direct Passenger Plaza (815 Pierce, across from the Downtown Transit Center) to IAH from 0530 to 2000 hours and southbound from IAH Terminal C to downtown from 0610 to 2040 hours. Parking at Reliant Park

Please allow plenty of time for the extra traffic around Reliant Park during OTC. Close-in parking fills up quickly. After midmorning, try the parking entrances closest to the 610 Loop to avoid delays. A complimentary tram service is available to take you to the OTC entrance.

The parking fee at Reliant Park is USD 8 per entry. For your convenience, a special parking permit is available for USD 40 that gives you unlimited in-and-out privileges during the 4 days of the show. Vehicles with permits may leave and return between 0600 and 1900 hours, Monday through Thursday, but may not be left overnight. Purchase a parking permit.

Handicap Parking

Reliant Park has ample handicap parking spaces located in the following lots: Red Lot #4: 59 spaces; Orange Lot #10: 53 spaces; and Blue Lot #16: 16 spaces.
